Cross Communication Collective
Cross Communication Collective
We believe in an interracial, intergenerational, interdenominational Kingdom work carried by witnesses.
Recommended Speakers
The Cross Communication Collective is a curated community of speakers committed to thoughtful, faithful communication. We exist to help elevate communicators whose gifts are evident in their message and presence. By prioritizing discernment, we seek to increase visibility for voices that communicate with wisdom, care, and integrity.
Joining the Collective gets your headshot, speaker sizzle reel, bio, and description of your message listed on our website among the Collective. A link to this directory goes out to our mailing list of nearly 10,000 subscribers every week. All members also get free access to our monthly short courses where you will meet other speakers, learn strategies and receive community and guidance.
The work we feature on this site is not us saying “we agree with everything they say,” but it is us saying, “this work is meaningful and was handled with care.”
Inclusion reflects alignment with Cross Communication values at the time of application process, not endorsement of every view expressed.
HEATHER THOMPSON DAY, FOUNDER & CEO
Heather Thompson Day is a former Communication Professor who holds a PhD in Higher Education and has spent her career equipping communicators to speak with clarity, conviction, and spiritual depth. She served as a public speaking director for multiple different institutions, and has even taught Public Speaking to MBA and Law students at the University of Notre Dame. Through her academic work, speaking, and best selling writing, she has helped thousands of Christians better understand and articulate their message.
Heather believes the church does not have a theology problem. It has a communication problem. Cross Communication exists to close that gap.
The Cross Communication Collective connects event organizers with trusted speakers who carry both a quality message and the ability to deliver it well. Through yearly communication initiatives, monthly workshops and short courses, the Collective equips Christian leaders to speak in ways that are biblically grounded, culturally aware, and spiritually impactful.
Anchored in Acts 1:8 and 1 John 1:1 to 3 and 5 to 7, our mission is simple: to help you tell people what you have seen, heard, and experienced with God.
Friday Night Light: Come Pray With Us In 2026!
When you become a part of this movement, every Friday night Heather will send you an encouraging devotion by email. Every message will include two reflection questions for your quiet time with God, and the prayer request of one of our members. This is the heart of what we call our Friday Night Light Community, "to carry one another's burdens" in intercessory prayer. By signing up and participating, you will join over 10,000 strangers in prayer. We select names and requests every week at random from this community.
